Kermarc'h is a family-owned rustic getaway nestled in the countryside of central Brittany. There is a heated pool, a historic farmhouse dating to 1762, and 3 other gîtes for a maximum sleeping capacity of 25.
Come enjoy the peaceful, slow-paced life surrounded by nature. Relax by the pool at Kermarc’h or explore the local villages with their stone houses and medieval churches. Head over to nearby Lake Guerledan for boating, swimming, hiking and other outdoor activities. Experience Breton cuisine and culture with its unique mix of French and Celtic traditions. Take a day trip to any of Brittany’s coastal cities, beaches, and historical sites. Disconnect from the modern world and sleep well, away from noise and light pollution.
During the summer we get boxes of local farm-fresh produce delivered from our friends at Jardin de Crec’h Macouz in Saint-Gilles-Pligeaux who use sustainable, ecological farming techniques. The boxes are different each week but always include an assortment of ripe vegetables such as courgettes, carrots, tomatoes, squash, green beans, potatoes, aubergines, and cucumbers. They are 10 euros and arrive on Mondays. If you want a box (or more) for your group during your stay just let us know and we will put in the order for you.
Kermarc'h is just a few minutes by car (or bike) from the village of Saint Nicolas du Pélem as well as the villages of Saint Ygeaux, Saint Trephine, and Plussulien. We are a 20 minute drive from Lake Guerlédan, the largest lake in Brittany, great for swimming, hiking and water sports.
Situated in the farmland of central Brittany, Kermarc'h It is a great place to disconnect from the modern world and spend time with your friends and family. Being centrally located, it is also a great starting point for exploring Brittany with its food, culture, history, natural beauty, and beaches all within reach.
