Été 2025
At the start of the summer we had friends visit us from abroad to help celebrate Damon's 50th birthday. It was great to be able to host everyone at Kermarch and to enjoy some local culture and history with friends - we visited the Rose Granite Coast in Perros Guirec, Suscinio Castle near Vannes, Cidrerie Manior Kinkiz near Quimper, Paimpont and Broceliande, the Fete de la Musique event in Rostrenen and the Abbaye de Bon Repos.

Spring 2025
In May we spent a day in Nantes exploring Les Machines de l'Isle. We loved it and highly recommend a visit.

In the farmhouse, in the larger upstairs bathroom, we got a new water heater and then built a new enclosure around it.
Winter 2025
In the Farmhouse we made some renovations including repointing an interior stone wall and painting.
We updated the kitchen in Marie with new cooking appliances and a new countertop. We also added new wall art and furniture in both Marie and Madeleine.
Autumn 2024
We have had a mostly mild season so far but had a dusting of snow in November. ​

It was announced that the Tour de France will be coming through this area on Friday July 11 2025. The stage that day will end in Mur de Bretagne, about 20 mins from here. Cycling fans, book your stay in advance because we expect there to be a lot of demand for that week.
We still have availability for the winter months so please reach out to us if you are interested. With wood stoves in all of the gîtes, winter at Kermarc'h is very cozy, great for a family gathering or a romantic escape.
We replaced the fence around the pool and it includes a larger area which means more room for relaxing by the pool. We will share more pics when we get closer to opening the pool in May 2025.

We replaced 3 glass doors in Madeleine and Marie that were wearing down, the new doors will help to keep cooler in summer and warmer in winter.
Summer 2024
This was our first full summer season since buying the property and moving from the US in 2023. Thanks so much to all the guests that stayed with us and for the nice reviews which we will add to the website soon.
​In July we went to Les Vieilles Charrues music festival in nearby Carhaix and saw PJ Harvey and Sting among others. In August we spent a day at the beach in Binic at the Grain d'Pirate festival. ​ In September we got away for a quick trip to Mont Saint-Michel and Saint Malo.
Spring 2024
We continued renovations in the Farmhouse and Cottage - installing new wood floors in the upstairs bedrooms and hallway, new vinyl floors in the bathrooms, a closet renovation in one of the bedrooms, and lots of painting.​​
We had 2 groups of friends visit from the US and took the opportunity to do some sightseeing - we took a day trip to the Carnac Alignments and another to Paimpol and the Île de Bréhat.
May and June are the best months for flowers here, the wild foxglove is all over this region.
